Toys for Tots Second Place
12/13/2011Ken Jackson
This marked the 5th tournament in a row that the 10u Stealth made it into the Championship game. Peyton Teed led the way this weekend pitching the team to victory over the Firebirds in game 1 with Kenny Jackson closing things out. Adam Koski pitched a strong second game with Chase Snyder closing things out. In the Championship game, Peyton once again pitched a strong 4 innings leaving with the lead in hand. Kenny Jackson came in and unfortunately couldn't hold the lead, losing 7-6.
This weekend was one of the best tournaments the Stealth have played, with no baserunning mistakes and solid hitting all the way around. The Havasu tournament really helped the boys to bond and the trust showed on the field. With Winter Nationals right around the corner the team is coming together at just the right time.
